We are thrilled to announce Jenny Mason as the recipient of our 2024 Spring Scholarship, awarded through a partnership with the Upper Keys BPW. Jenny's dedication to education, her professional achievements, and her unwavering commitment to our Upper Keys community made her an outstanding choice for this honor.

Jenny Mason, RN, currently serves as the Director of the Nursing Simulation Center at the College of the Florida Keys. With a stellar 4.0 GPA in her BSN program, Jenny’s educational journey is a testament to her dedication and hard work. Not only is she an accomplished nurse, but Jenny was also our 2022 Fish for Holly Grand Champion Angler, showcasing her multifaceted talents and community spirit.

The scholarship will aid Jenny in completing her Doula Certification at the International Doula Institute. This program, which begins in May 2024 and runs through April 2025, will provide Jenny with the necessary skills and knowledge to support expectant parents in our community. Her goal is to offer emotional and physical support during pregnancy, labor, and childbirth, and to collaborate with local healthcare providers to empower families during these pivotal moments.

Jenny’s commitment to education and her passion for service align perfectly with the Holly Given Fund’s mission. Holly lived her life with a spirit of generosity and dedication to the community, and we are honored to support Jenny as she continues in this tradition.
