The legacy of the Fish for Holly Sailfish Tournament reached new international waters this spring—literally. We're beyond proud to share that Team Fish for Holly took home first place at the 2025 Costa Offshore World Championship (OWC), held in Quepos, Costa Rica.
Representing our Florida Keys community and the heart behind our mission, the team—Audrey Koocher, Ritchie White, Roy Godinez, and John Timura, led by Captain Robert Collins—delivered three days of consistent, high-level performance on the water. Competing against 33 other elite teams from 19 countries, they released 29 billfish, earning 6,100 points and securing the title of Offshore World Champions.
Their win wasn’t just about fish counts. It was about heart. Team member Ritchie White, who contributed a team-high 2,200 points, shared how meaningful this victory was to him personally, and we couldn’t help but see how fitting that spirit is for a team fishing in Holly’s name.
This moment is a reflection of what the Fish for Holly Tournament is all about—honoring Holly’s vibrant spirit, supporting each other, and building something that lasts far beyond the scales and scorecards. From the Florida Keys to Costa Rica, this community continues to show up, fish hard, and give back.
To see our tournament, which began as a tribute to Holly's life and legacy, now represented—and winning—on a global stage is deeply meaningful. This victory is for Holly, and for every life we hope to impact through education, awareness, and community connection.
From all of us at the Holly Given Fund: thank you for making this moment possible. We’re just getting started. 💙
